The purpose built Bakery that forms the backbone of Forfars was built in 1990 and has an area of over 30,000 sq. ft. There are specialist departments for Bread, Pastries, Filled Rolls & Sandwiches, Fresh Cream Cakes, Confectionery and Celebration Cakes. In addition to these departments we have a specific raw material storage area (which includes 2 flour silos) and a despatch area for baked goods.
The location of our Central Bakery - next to the A27 and near the A23 allows us to deliver within Sussex quickly and easily.

Forfars are continually re-investing in the latest production equipment - but automation is only used when the finished product is better than that produced by hand. We use the latest weighing systems to ensure all products are produced to the same high specifications. We have also incorporated several improved production lines, including a Kemper Bread and Roll divider/moulder and a Rondo Pastry line along with a Rondo Jumbolina pastry line.
